so its been a while...

The plants: as you may note there are far fewer plants here then I started with. This is due to me forgetting to water them and most of the plants have passed over to the other side. The ones that have survived are the endless and cherry tomato plants. We will see how long these ones last....

I'm ready for school to be over in one since but still want it to continue in another. I want to continue learning and having class discussions but want to be done with the tests and quizzes. Also want to have more time to throw pots on the wheel, right when I get started then we have like one more week that we can throw or something ridiculous like that.

Tired. not ready for another week. Will endure.

my garden grows!!!

...or at least some of the seeds have emerged!

This is how my garden garden looked on Wednesday after I had planted the seeds...


Now look and see what I have! Little sprouts! Aren't they so cute?!!?
These are my tomatoes... roma and cherry are the only veggies that have sprouted, so far.


My herbs seem to be doing well. They were the first to come up! Yeah for hope!


Maybe something will grow in my garden after all... or maybe it is just because I haven't had to do anything too major to keep it alive. Whatever!

Lent...

As I am not Catholic I do not really celebrate Lent in its entirety but I do like to try to work on a special goal in the time leading up to Easter and what better time to start then Lent? I try to focus on giving up a bad habit and spend that time with something more worthwhile.

My goal this year over Lent is to learn more about the life of Christ by studying it in the Scriptures and talks of the prophets. The thing that I am going to work on giving up is procrastination and I will continue with my plan of eating healthier.

Yeah for new beginnings!

So the new plan...

First of all, I had no idea that so many people in my family read my blog. Second of all, thanks, it makes me feel loved!

Now on to the reason for the post... While this may not seem major to alot of people it is a big deal for me to decide on something, anything, so here is the decided on plan. (It is subject to change!)

To squelch two rumors that I have heard (Thanks Grandpa!).... I am not getting married nor am I going on a mission at this time. Although both are worthy pursuits that I plan on doing they are not for me right now.

The New Plan: I got a job at Bob Tuckers Pharmacy for which I am really excited. This means I will be in Fallon longer then I had originally planned, which was June. Why, I dont know, but here I am and here I will stay, for a while. Please refer back to my blog title: "I am happy to be HERE!"

Prayers

For the past about month/many months I have been debating about what I am going to do with my life now that I am old and graduated from college.

Being a firm believer that I need to study out a topic, look at all of my choices, and then bring to the Lord the idea that I feel is the best and see what He thinks. This has worked for me in the past and I'm not one to stop doing something if it works!

Today I finally decided on the path that I thought was the best and said a little prayer asking Him what He thought of my choice and where this choice might lead me...

The results of this little prayer were much too quick for me. Within 15 I had a completely different path suggested and lets just say I am still in shock trying to figure out how all of it will work.

I just have to look into ironing out a few kinks and then we will see where I am lead...
