For tomorrow I have to turn in an abstract for my 490 class on one of the dullest articles of all time and if the professor hadn't removed all of the tracking information I would have added a link on here so everyone could enjoy reading it as much as I did.
It is a study about the Dutch shipping merchants during the reign of Charles V and the effect they had on warships and the Government in general. The author states that the reason the Dutch merchantmen lacked naval protection was because their backers were to stingy.
Above is the really rough draft of what is soon to be my abstract. It only has to be 250 words... but I had better really know and address that thesis and arguments. Dang it. That means that I have to read the article again, all 24 pages of boringness.
